BMW MOTOR/ELEKTRİK ARIZALARINI GÖSTERGEDEN GÖRME

Motronic'teki kayıtlı olan arızaları görmek için:

1. Öncelikle kadranınızın altında genişçe yazı yazabilen ekran olması gerekiyor;
2. Kontağı ikinci pozisyona getirdiğinizde ''Check Engine'' yazan lambanın yanıp sönmesi gerekiyor.

Şayet bunlar var ise ve yöntemi doğru uygulandığı taktirde, serviste aracı modic'e bağladığınızda gözüken arızaların kodlarını, kadranınızın hemen altındaki ekranda görme ihtimaliniz %50nin üzerinde . Esasen işlem oldukça basit ama biraz hassas işliyor: Kontağı 2.pozisyona getirdikten sonra ''check engine'' ışığınız yanıp sönerken gaz pedalınızı 5 defa sonuna kadar basıp bırakacaksınız. Ancak ortalama her saniye 1 kez basılıp bırakılmış olacak. Ne çok hızlı, ne de çok ağır.. 1995 model üstlerinde ve altlarında, gaz pedalına basma hızı ile biraz fark olduğunu biliyorum. Biraz denemekle ortaya çıkacağını umuyorum. (1980li yılların BMW'si dahil olsa, ''check engine'' ışığınız yanıyorsa aynı tekniği denediğinizde ''check engine''lambası tekrar yanıp flaş yaparsa, size 3-5 önemli problemi ayırettirebilir). Eğer işlem başarılı olursa, ekranda gözükecek olan kodlar 4 hanelidir ve herbiri, 1 arızanın temsilcisidir(Hiç arıza kaydı yoksa en azından 1000 ya da 1444no.lu kodu görmeniz yeterlidir).

This system automatically displays the fault codes. In the case of a "Check Engine" warning, leave the key in
the on position, but do not start the engine. After a pause, the "Check Engine" light will begin to flash the
codes.

Motronic 1.1 Fault Codes

Fault Code: Malfunction:

• 1 Airflow Sensor Malfunction
• 11 Oxygen Sensor Malfunction
• 111 Coolant Temperature Malfunction
• 1111 Throttle Switch Malfunction

Displaying Fault Codes for Motronic 1.3 (E34 5 Series, etc)

Using Motronic 1.3, The ECU (Engine Control Unit) remembers fault codes if problems develop while operating. When a problem is detected, the ECU stores the fault code and then flashes the Check Engine light. Normally these codes are retrieved using a scan tool plugged into the diagnostic connector. There is an alternate method to read these codes if no tool is available:

1. Turn the ignition key to the run position.
2. Depress the gas pedal to the floor five times in rapid succession. (Activates the wide open throttle switch)
3. The ECU then displays the error codes by flashing the check engine light in a sequence that corresponds to the code. Eg: Error Code 1222 is displayed by flashing once, then pausing, then flashing twice, then pausing, then flashing twice two more times. If there are no faults, you should see the 1444 code, or 2444 if you have a 12 cylinder model. 12 cylinder models have additional codes for the second Motronic ECU. The code replaces
   the first digit (1) with a (2).

Displaying Fault Codes for Motronic 3.x

Works similar to the Motronic 1.3 system, but requires quicker switching, at precise intervals, of the wide open throttle switch to activate the fault code display. Usually requires a few attempts to get the timing right.
The fault codes are displayed in the same way, but is harder to achieve because of the more critical timing requirements with which you turn the key then depress and release the accelerator.
